Knit! has designed the “Red in Rome” sweater . The pattern, available from knit!  calls for a combination of Beaded Plie and Plie yarns.   As described by Knit!:

It is a super-simple first project pattern! The bottom portion is made with using a silk yarn “double” so it knits fast. The top portion is made with the beaded version of the yarn. No increases or decreases, just straight knitting and then sew the pieces together.  You can do it!

The Winter issue of the Knitter’s Magazine offers  a delightful scarf pattern called SikenSplendor.  The scarf calls for 4 skeins of Tilli Tomas Fil de la Mer in the color Russet and 2 skeins of Beaded Plie in the color of Burnt Orange.  The undulating wave pattern and garter stripes in the Beaded Plie create a garment that breaths and has plenty of style.  The pattern was designed by Amy Marshall.
