Vogue Knitting - Fall 2011 Two-Toned Turtleneck
Jenifer Stark designed the two-toned turtleneck, featuring a layer of ethereal lace over conventional stockinette.  Tilli Tomas’s “Symphony Lace” with beads and glitter is used for the openwork overlay;  ”Sock” forms the base.  Both layers are worked seperately in the round, then assembled and joined to finish the ribbed border, cuffs and generous turtleneck.

Stitch Diva has designed the Chainmaille Cowl using Tilli Tomas Symphony DK.The cowl is worked in the round using Tunisian Diagonal stitch and Tunisian Purl Stitch. It is created using a double-ended crochet hook with two strands of yarn using the Double-Ended Hook Spiral Method of working circular Tunisian Crochet.Refer to her website for the Free pattern.

Yarn bombing - Seattle
Recently while wondering around Seattle, I discovered a park with yarn bombing galore. The yarn really brightened the park and adding some flare to the site. I discovered that Suzanne Tidwell was selected by the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation was selected specifically for this project at Pioneer Park.

Vogue Knitting   Lace Vest #20
The Lace Vest has a loose-fitting open-front vest worked from the top down to the hem with garter stitch yoke and borders. The pattern, by Kristen Omdahl, calls for Tilli Tomas Symphony with Beads and Glitter .  The Army of Knitters has come out with a pattern called Malachite  as part of their “Winter 2010″ collection. As described by the designer, Heather: This very wearable sweater features sequined shoulders and stripes for a bit of everyday sparkle. Completely seamless, knitted from the top down, with saddle shoulder, set in sleeves. Designed to hug the curves in all the right places.The trim is made from Tilli Tomas Disco Lights yarn which added the glitter and flare to this absoluteley stunning pattern.
